Regency Whist Club Purpose

Regency Whist Club is organized for the purposes and objectives set forth in its Certificate of Consolidation, dated July 28, 1964.

To wit: 
Regency Club, Inc., whose certificate of incorporation was filed in the office of the Secretary of State, New York, on August 24, 1936, and The Whist Club, whose certificate of incorporation was filed in the office of the Secretary of State, New York, on March 28, 1894, are the corporations to be included in this consolidation.

The name of the new corporation is
Regency Whist Club, Inc.

The purpose and objectives of such new corporation shall be to
(a) promote social and literary contacts between men and woman; and
(b) to promote the practice and development of the game of contract bridge and promulgate, or join in the promulgation of laws applicable to contract bridge. 

To do all things, growing out of and connected with the aforesaid purpose, not inconsistent with the laws of the State of New York.

Said corporation is organized for the purpose hereinfore set forth, but in no way for profit.
